AUDIOBOOKS
Promote Audiobooks In A Video
For APA Contest Cash Prizes
March 19, 2012

(VOXtra) - Who doesn’t enjoy a short, funny video?  (There’s a reason YouTube gets over two billion views per day!)

A short, engaging video that shares the joys of audiobooks - and stands a chance of reaching a very wide audience - is what the Audio Publisher Association hopes will be the result of their 2012 Viral Video Contest. To sweeten the deal, the APA is offering cash prizes. (Just imagine – fame and fortune too!)

Create an original video that promotes audiobooks in three minutes or less, and you can enter the contest to win the $5,000 first place cash prize. Second place is $2,000. Third is $1,000.

The APA is looking for a video that shows how fun and engaging audiobooks can be.   Their slogan is "Get Caught Listening."

FANS WILL VOTE

From entries received by the May 15, 2012 deadline, the APA will select 10 finalists.

Fans will vote, and a panel of celebrity judges will determine the top three winners.

Check out last year’s entries at YouTube’s Get Caught Listening Channel.

Beginning June 1, viewers will be able to vote for their favorites.

HOW TO ENTER

Details including the official rules and entry guidelines are available here, or by visiting:

Start thinking and filming! Entries are due by May 15.

Best of luck!
